Intermediate Photography is designed to take you beyond the basic settings and give you a deeper understanding of your camera and its functions.

After learning the fundamentals of photography, this workshop takes you inside your camera’s menu, settings, controls, and features. The instructor will go through the different functions in detail, explaining what they do, when to use them, and how they affect your final image.

The goal is to help you understand the capabilities of your camera, make better technical decisions, and use your equipment with greater speed and confidence in different shooting situations.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:

• Navigate and understand your camera’s menus, settings, and functions in greater detail.
• Understand the different shooting modes and when to use them.
• Select the appropriate picture style, file type, and image quality.
• Gain advanced control of ISO and White Balance settings.
• Understand your camera’s light meter and exposure controls.
• Understand and use the different focus modes, focus areas, and focusing settings.
• Discover additional camera functions and customization options that can improve your shooting workflow.
• Understand the main settings, functions, and modes of a portable flash.
• Configure your camera more efficiently for different shooting conditions.
• Build stronger technical knowledge that can be applied to portrait, event, fashion, product, travel, documentary, and other photography fields.

Prerequisite: Basic Photography.
