Course Description

Photojournalism is more than taking a good photograph. It is about observing the world with attention, capturing real moments with honesty, and telling stories that matter through images.

This course introduces you to one of the most powerful forms of visual storytelling, used in newspapers, magazines, digital media, documentary projects, and social platforms. You will learn how to transform everyday life into strong, meaningful photographs that communicate emotion, context, and truth.

Through both classroom learning and outdoor practice, you will explore how to approach a subject, read a situation, capture decisive moments, build a photo report, and write captions that support the story behind the image. The course also highlights your responsibility as a photojournalist, including ethics, respect, accuracy, and professional conduct.
