Production for filming

Behind every successful film is a strong production team. This workshop is designed to give participants a clear understanding of how planning, organization, and coordination bring a director’s vision to life. From pre production through the final day of shooting, you will explore the responsibilities of production management and practice the skills needed to keep a film on track. Through interactive exercises and group projects, you will experience how effective production transforms ideas into reality. 

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to: 

• Understand the role and responsibilities of production in film. 
• Plan and organize shooting schedules, budgets, and logistics. 
• Manage pre-production tasks such as casting, location scouting, and crew coordination. 
• Communicate and collaborate with directors, actors, and technical departments. 
• Anticipate challenges and solve problems efficiently on set. 
• Ensure projects remain on time and within budget without sacrificing creativity. 
• Gain hands-on experience in production teamwork through practical exercises. 

Prerequisite: None (open to beginners and filmmakers seeking production experience)
