This hands-on, practice-based course is designed for photographers who have completed Food Photography I or have equivalent experience with studio lighting. Whether you’re aiming to refine your style or expand your portfolio, this course gives you the tools to create professional, creative, and impactful food imagery. 

Working with a complete studio flash setup, you’ll explore advanced techniques that bring food and drinks to life through light, composition, and special effects. You’ll also experiment with tethered shooting and medium format cameras to achieve professional standards in both creativity and precision. 

What You Will Learn: 

  • Create dramatic dark food photography using off-camera flash. 
  • Introduce a human element to enhance storytelling in food shots. 
  • Develop a minimalist photography style for clean and elegant visuals. 
  • Conduct live studio shoots using tethering and medium format cameras. 
  • Apply special effects such as splash and smoke for dynamic food and drink images. 
  • Use a color checker for accurate tones and professional color grading. 
  • Build a consistent and professional creative food photography portfolio. 

Prerequisites: Intro to Studio, Studio Flashes, and Food Photography I
